Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Top Ten Most Anticipated Books in 2011!!

1. Pale Demon by Kim Harrison
OMG OMG OMG  there are no words to describe my excitement!!  Al and Rachel should totally do it.  Right now.  And then Trent and Rachel should do it too.

2. Ghost Story by Jim Butcher
Dear Mr. Butcher.  That ending that you left us with in the previous book Changes was SO not fair!  And then to make us wait a whole YEAR to see what happened?!  I am dying, literally dying to know what happens next

3. River Marked by Patricia Briggs
Oh Mercy Thompson how I love thee and I suppose I love Adam too.  But I really love your cover!

4. This Side of the Grave by Jeanine Frost
BFF told me to read this series this year and I am so glad she forced me to.  I read the first four books plus the two spin off books in like two days and now I am Bones starved.  I don't know what to do with myself.  I pace the floors in anticipation of this book.  I am in agony.

5. Where She Went by Gayle Forman
Awww If I Stay was such a sweet book.  I can't wait to read this book from Adam's perspective!

6. Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins
Sophie! Sophie! Sophie!  I wish she was real. I want to be her friend.  Sophie is my hero.

7. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
I forget why I'm excited for this book.  I just know I am.

8. Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves
YES!!!  Serial killing sisters!!!!  Just my type of story!  It's like Dexter had two daughters instead of a boy and taught them the tricks of the trade!  BlooooooOoOood.

9. Shadowfever by Karen Moning
I am anticipating this just so I can read the other 3 books.  See, I heard there was cliffhanger endings, and I couldn't put myself through the torture.  So I've only read the first book.  I can't wait to find out what everyones always gushing about hahhahaha!

10. City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
As much as I don't want to be anticipating this book....I am.  I hate that she is continuing the story.  I liked how it ended after three books and I want the characters to stay happy like that in my head.   I hope these next three books don't kill my happily ever after.

There are a LOT of reasons you should be excited for Delirium. It's a really amazing book. I loved it so much that I'll probably buy it and read it again when it comes out.

Delirium is great - loved it :) I think Slices of Cherry sounds interesting - might definitely have to check that one out.

Nice list, dude -- nice! I also have featured some of these titles in my Waiting on Wednesday meme, and I'm glad to see our gal Kim Harrison on this ;-)

I love your comment in regards to Delirium. I do that too sometimes because it can get so long inbetween discovering the book and when it comes out.

Slice of Cherry sounds interesting. I love Dexter! I hope it's really good, I look forward to seeing what you think of it.

I'm in two minds about the continuation of The Mortal Instruments. She wrapped up those three books so well and I don't remember her really leaving any loose ends. Plus I think too many authors continue on to the point where the story loses the plot (no pun intended).
Then again they're such well written books and a joy to read the story so I do really want to read them to see what she comes up with in the story.

Bones! Bones! Bones!
Whaaaaa? Only #4!?!?
I must cover my eyes on that one.

I'm looking forward to City of Angels too but I was thinking, should I be worried that Clary and Simon are on the cover instead of Clary & Jace? No, don't ruin it!!!

Great picks and have a great week girlie!

Your list is very interesting! I have been trying to get into the Mercy Thompson series, but for some or other reason I'm just not getting into it... Do you suggest I keep on trying?

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm a new follower!

There is not one author on your list that I have read, but I have Harrison and Briggs on my "to be considered" list.

Ahhhh Pale Demon!!!! I really truly hate that I have to wait a whole year to read a Hollows book, finish it in a day or two, then have to wait another whole year!
