Happy February! Wow January went flying by...what the heck was I doing for that whole month? Huh, I don't even remember.
Well to start February off right we are getting a blizzard!!! Horra....wait no, that SUCKS! Isn't February the start of spring? and melting? and thawing? no? DAMN! Yesterday, husband and I went out to get lots of food so that we would not starve. Let's hope that the power doesn't go out in the 55 MPH winds, because we have a lot of frozen foods. Although I suppose we could just throw everything out in the snow :) What I really needed though was batteries! So incase the power did go out I could get a flashlight and keep reading. Priorities ya know?
So right now I am reading The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. I've heard so many good things about this series but honestly I'm about 200 pages in and I don't get the obsession. Meghan is kind of boring. The story for me is just kind of....blah. Does it get more interesting? Is there really going to be a love triangle between a sixteen year old girl and two really really old fae? (ew) Is there a cliffhanger ending? Is that the reason why it's so good because of the anticipation of what happens in the next book? I guess I should just finish it eh? What do you guys think of this series?

Meep, I hope the story gets better for you. I haven't read it yet, but Iron King is sitting on my shelf. Lots of people have been raving about it, which is why I ended up getting myself a copy (ok, the fairy bits sold me too). Will have to make some time to get around to reading it.
